After you install the font, go to downloads and open the font, it will show a preview of it. Then on the top left corner it says Print and Install. Click on install. Then you can use it in Word or other programs. You can also see the installed font in Control Panel in Fonts (if you can’t see it, search Fonts in the right hand corner search for Control Panel) and then look for the font you downloaded, it should be there.
Hope this helps! I’ve had the same problem, and just figured it out (againI knew I had done it before!) So here is the way I found that works. Click on a single font displayed in Amanda’s post. A new window comes up with only that font. Click on the cute button that says “Download now”. (Watch out for the ad with the plain download button that gives you a file viewer, NOT the font.) 3.
After you click “Download now”, a small window pops up asking if you want to “OPEN”, “SAVE”, or “SAVE AS”. Another window opens with the file listed. Double-click on the file. The font pops up in another window, and there is an “INSTALL” button up on the left hand side. Click that, and when it goes gray, your font has been installed.
I haven’t figured out how to do more than one at a timeso this is slow, but it will get them for you! Thanks for the fonts!! 2 questions because I kinda did two different things: When I came to the last step to right click and install, I did not have the option to install when I right clicked. What does that mean?
Also, I clicked on the download all button and it took me through all these windows where I had to keep clicking accept, it installed a lot of programs like the Yahoo Toolbar and Weatherbug and Gamesis that normal? But I didn’t see anything about the fonts once it downloaded those programsplease help.:). Just letting you know that your install routine does not work. I do not know what versions of Vista or Firefox etc., you used when you set up these installation instructions, but following them does not offer you the opportunity to install. Only to print.
I tried it with the latest service pack and the current versions of Firefox and IE. I got around the problem using a third party font management system, but many people (as evidenced by some already posting a bout the same problem) will not have that option. You have some nice fonts there, lots of fun to play with. I would love to use your fonts when I create things for my blog. However, once I create things, I do not want to have to recreate them. So, I am trying to be proactive. When I create something, I usually share it.
